Seven First Kisses Episode 5 review

Episode 5: Exo Kai-"I'm your teacher, you're my student"

Soo Jin was asked to be an interpreter for a Chinese couple who wanted to purchase items from the Lotte duty free shop. She was shocked that she could speak Mandarin and she was excited on who she was going to meet with her new skills.

It turns out to be Kai from the group Exo! She was so happy and he was asking her out on a date. Soo Jin realises that he is her student and she is his teacher. Yeah, it's the noona relationship!

Kai takes Soo Jin to a pop-up style mall... Oh, I so love this part! Shipping container design my fav!! :D I'm not sure if it's the same one I saw on some Instagram posts, it's called Common Ground. Hopefully I can visit it someday!

The sunglasses part got me yelling out,"Perfect!" Reminiscence of Louis and Bok Sil in Shopping King Louis... ;D

Ah, the romantic rain and I will shelter you part... It's really sweet! On my first viewing I felt it was rather dodgy and boring but as I'm doing this review, I realised it's those sweet romance date that many girls dream of... So I guess this is part of the reward for Soo Jin, she always wanted to date and have a cutesy boyfriend! ;D

Kai treats her to a burger lunch (or dinner?) Oh that burger looks delicious... He goes on to talk about their relationship as teacher and student. I guess many Exo fans are screaming now because they'll be on tour in China this year (according to this drama!)... ;D Soo Jin still insists on Kai being her student and it would be strange if their relationship would change from that. Aww, both of them seem sad at that moment...

Later that night on their way home (I presume again!) Kai spots something ahead. It's a folk dance party! Hahaha, I know right? Why on earth is something like that happening right out of nowhere... Okay, it's k-drama anything can happen... ;D

Kai pulls Soo Jin and starts to dance with them... Soo Jin is having so much fun she doesn't want the dream to end...

The song ends and Kai does a ballet turn (Sorry I couldn't screenshot that it looked too strange!) and gets all serious again. He reiterates that he doesn't just want to be Soo Jin's student anymore. He takes out a ring (What??!) and puts it on her finger. He was also wearing the matching one as well. Aww so sweet!!

And the kiss!

Well, almost kiss... Argh! Soo Jin gets time-warped back to reality. Again. :D Okay, this is getting tiring! She sighs and looks longing at Kai's card. Only two more guys left...

Meanwhile her two other colleagues arrive for their shift and tells Soo Jin to go meet her boyfriend. Soo Jin was like, "My boyfriend?" Haha, I guess she's excited again to see who is the next guy... and it's OK Taecyon! Love her cute smile!

Exo Kai ending

As Kai leans in for the kiss, they are interrupted by the announcement for the next dance. Cha-cha-cha! Hahahah!! It ends with both of them joining in with some silly dancing. Too cute! I guess they really did enjoy themselves filming this part... :D

Like I've said earlier, on first viewing this story seems lacking and a bit boring. But as you watch it again you'll realise it's about the having a really sweet date. Going shopping, grabbing a bite together and dancing the night away! I've begun to like this story more now... ;D

Fifth card! Ok Taecyon... will he sweep Soo Jin off her feet? ;D

Seven First Kisses Episode 4 review

Episode 4: Ji Chang Wook-"Till the end of the world"

Picking up from the previous episode, Soo Jin was handed a sealed envelope by her boss. Wondering what's inside, she opens it after her shift and found a USB with a note attached to it. "Please keep it safe, I will be back for it." Oh, I love her cute little handbag! :D

Soo Jin was walking home (I presume?!) But seriously why all the dark alley ways... so scary! :O She gets grabbed by someone and it's Ji Chang Wook! He asked her for the USB, Soo Jin was still digesting the fact that Ji Chang Wook was standing in front of her... Hahah!

As he turns to leave, and gun is pointed at his head. Omo! The bad guys are here! This is the cute part, when Soo Jin realises that Ji Chang Wook is a secret agent and that she is also one! Love her expressions haha!!

Chang Wook edges Soo Jin to safety (Aww, I really love this part!) and starts to kick butt. Yeah! Love his fighting skills, but wait... Soo Jin has some really great moves too. ;D She kicks the gunfire away, flings the bad guy and cart wheel kick the others. Wow! Chang Wook is impressed. Me too!!

Back at the safe house, Chang Wook keeps apologising for involving Soo Jin again and wanted to leave. But as he was leaving, he collapses. Apparently he has a gun shot wound. Omo! :( Soo Jin helps to bandage and clean up the wound. Haha, this part was so Bourne-like.. The secret agents getting wounded and falling in love at the safe house... XD

Chang Wook gets up to leave again but Soo Jin runs after him. Aww! I would too.. Haha! Chang Wook is touched and tells Soo Jin he will do anything to protect her. Oh so romantic!! And yes, the kiss...

Okay, by now you know the story already... Soo Jin is brought back to reality at that very moment of the kiss... Poor girl!! She's so frustrated. I feel for her too... :( The third card lights up with Ji Chang Wook's face.

Still reeling from the lost of Chang Wook (I know luv! We all feel the same too XD) Her boss calls her. Damn, this guy is always asking her to do work! Wtf... Soo Jin is surprised that she's being called to be an interpreter...

Meanwhile her mobile is ringing, who could be calling her? Yes, it's Kai from Exo! I wonder if that's his real number... ;P

Ji Chang Wook ending

At that very moment when they were about to kiss the alarm siren went off. Argh! Yeah, the bad guys are back and storming their safe house. Omo! Chang Wook and Soo Jin gear up and it ends with them going out to fight the bad guys together...

Another cool love story. I enjoyed this one particularly because it reminds me so much of Bourne Identity. :D Plus, it's Ji Chang Wook! It's nice to see him again just right after K2 ended.

Okay, on to the fourth card! Exo Kai. Wonder why is he calling Soo Jin?

Seven First Kisses Episode 3 review

Episode 3: Park Hae Jin-"Dangerous boss"

In this second story, Soo Jin finds herself in some trouble with her boss Park Hae Jin. She was caught playing with her mobile during working hours and he confiscated her phone. (What?! It's just like school times haha!) He told her to collect it from him after her shift.

Still very much in disbelief, Soo Jin kept asking her colleagues if Park Hae Jin was really their boss and not an actor.

So, she went to his office to collect her phone after her shift. Soo Jin was still pondering on how Park Hae Jin was her boss and not a famous actor. Haha! Poor girl, she's so blur... Hae Jin sees her and asks her if she was busy or not. He makes her stay overtime and eat dinner with him. (Argh! Every employee's nightmare! But it's Park Hae Jin, ohhh why not?! ;P)

Some sweet moments of them having dinner together and Hae Jin offers to send Soo Jin home.

She rushes to clean up and suddenly finds something sinister on Hae Jin's table. (Also Lotte product placement! :P)  She found a stack of photographs of herself and she remembered getting some earlier in her locker downstairs.

Soo Jin starts to panic and thinks that Hae Jin could be a dangerous stalker so she tries to escape by using the staircase. But to her horror she bumps into the real stalker at the service lift. (Omg! I was so scared watching this part :O) He started to take off his clothes and holding the camera. Soo Jin was so shocked she just couldn't do anything. (Seriously, if this was real life she would be dead meat. She should have like, tried to kick the guy's ding dongs or something?!)

Then, as true to any K-drama style the hero comes to rescue the female lead. :D Hae Jin tackles the crazy stalker and saves Soo Jin. He still insists on sending her home safely. Wah! So romantic... Hahah!

The couple sat on a bench outside later while watching the police cart the stalker away. Hae Jin explains why the photos were on his table and he was just trying to protect her. Aww!

He went on and asked Soo Jin to be his girlfriend. Oh wow! That was so fast... I liked the conversation between them here. His logic of voting for him means that Soo Jin also likes him hahah!!

And finally, yes.... the kiss! Soo Jin and Hae Jin were about to kiss and as with the first story, at that very moment Soo Jin gets transported back to reality. Time rewinds itself and she's left day-dreaming again about the whole story. Poor girl!

The second card reveals Park Hae Jin's face and as she turned the card around, she saw some wordings on it. She has to be careful of who she kisses. Soo Jin was wondering about the wordings when her real boss (Haha! Not Park Hae Jin boo...) passes her a sealed envelope. What could that be?

Meanwhile, happening at the basement car park of the building... a mysterious individual is seen running being pursued by a bunch of masked men. Omo! Who could that be? Why yasss, it's Ji Chang Wook! ;D

Park Hae Jin ending

So, did Soo Jin manage to kiss Park Hae Jin?! Alas, no! The police officer interrupted them asking for their statements. What the?! Hahahh!! The police officer realised that he came at the wrong time but Hae Jin said it was okay. The story ends with Hae Jin and Soo Jin laughing together. It was funny and sweet. Aww!

I enjoyed this story as well. Park Hae Jin has the handsome debonair feel and him protecting Soo Jin was really sweet.

We've reached the third card already! Ji Chang Wook... Are you ready to handle him?! ;D
